St Pauls’s Church, Annual Charity fundraiser

By Draping_Bliss, March 1, 2016

The theme was “Memoirs of a geisha” and the request was to create sails to frame the church columns to add the feeling of an avenue of cherry blossom trees.

We decided on voile as the main fabric, so that the sails can be viewed double sided. Using specialist fabric paint to hand paint each tree onto the 6m tall voile sails.

Adding up lighters as the base of each sails to really make them stand out.

Here are our clients comments after the event

Thank you again for all your help in making the Spear party 2015 happen
The design was a huge success, in large part due to your wonderful sails and draping
